Multi-modal interface based Navigation Application for Infotainment

The rapidly increasing demand for more in-vehicle infotainment ????????????????????
convenience and safety when manipulating a car application while driving. From now, popular car makers have focused on commercializing a central display, cluster and HUD regarding with LBS based services. Especially, Navigation system for smart-car must provide safety and convenience to a driver while driving. Our proposed HMI system is focused on manipulations that minimize driver distractions without the need to touch the screen directly. Additionally, we attempted convergence of multi-modal interfaces on our system. We also set up the application based navigation service using GPS information. Finally, we confirmed the performance our proposed method on the infotainment system in vehicle using multi-modal interfaces.
