GPS Quality Monitoring Result Analysis using GPS Signal Tracking Antenna Control Program

We installed a GPS signal tracking antenna for ‘study about grid-based service availability improvement method’ and ‘study for the ionospheric layer status monitoring method’. For operation of this GPS signal tracking antenna, we developed an antenna control program that included GPS satellite tracking function and quality monitoring algorithm. We developed algorithm for ‘Signal Power Monitor’, ‘Code-Carrier Divergence Monitor’ and ‘Carrier Innovation Monitor’ in antenna control program. Currently, we perform quality monitoring via this GPS tracking antenna and antenna control program. We select random GPS satellite vehicle and store quality monitoring result for data analysis. This paper describe not only result of quality monitoring algorithm analysis but also compare tracking antenna analysis result with Omni-directional antenna analysis result.
