Test Procedure and List of Navigation System for Air Vehicle
Ji-Hee Park*, Jeong Yeol Kim, Byung il Seo, Dong-Ho Shin

There are 5 processes in order to evaluate the navigation system for Air Vehicle. First test is single-test. In the test, the system is verified to meet the requirements including function, interface and performance with simulator. Second, the system is integrated with other avionics systems and performed avionics system integration test with flight simulation system according to avionics SIL (System Integration Laboratory) test procedure. In this test, other systems except avionics are model. Next, it is tested under system integration environments which mean all systems for air vehicle are integrated and controlled by flight control system. This test is called system SIL/HILS (System Integration Laboratory/Hardware in the Loop Simulation) test. After passing these tests, the system is installed on air vehicle and conducted the ground test in static state. And then low and high-taxiing tests are done. In the test, the system is confirmed whether flight test is possible as verification the system’s performance. After that, finally, the flight tests are performed and the system is evaluated take-off, landing and flight performance. This paper explains test method and evaluation list for each test and verify performance of the navigation system by these test.
