High Integrity System Test Bed (HISTB) The Preliminary Step To EGNOS Dual Frequency / Multi-Constellation Evolution
H. Delfour*, J.A. Gicquel, P. Larhantec, D. Joly, D. Lekaim, M. Jeannot

In the frame of the "European GNSS Evolution Program" (EGEP), ESA is preparing the next version of EGNOS. This project is currently in its definition phase, with the aim of consolidating the definition and the deployment strategy. In parallel, in order to bring more confidence in simulations results, including notably field testing, Test Beds are developed in the frame of EGEP. Among them, High Integrity System Test Bed (HISTB) is designed to assess future EGNOS services for aeronautical users. This project has been divided in two phases: first phase has finished end 2013, with a first set of results available, whereas second phase is currently running with new activities under implementation. The experimentations done up to end 2013 have provided results related to multi-constellation / dual-frequency augmentation. The new aspects developed in this paper are the on-going HISTB activities (second phase of the project since beginning 2014). In addition, this paper describes how the HISTB concept could be tailored to perform concrete experimentations and demonstrations related to K-SBAS.
