An Interim Result of Performance Analysis on the Use of SSV for KPS Satellites
Gun-Hoon Ji, Heon Shin, Jong-Hoon Won

In this paper a numerical analysis result to assess the possibility to use GNSS Space Service Volume (SSV) receivers on Korea satellite navigation system (KPS) satellites is presented. KPS is planned to provide a navigation and timing service by constructing 7 satellites over the Korean Peninsula. The numerical simulation tests are performed to assess the performance of GNSS SSV on KPS in terms of the GNSS satellite visibility, the Geometric Dilution Of Precision (GDOP) and the carrier to noise ratio (C/N0) in various scenarios. This paper verifies the applicability of GNSS SSV for KPS satellites through multi-GNSS and sidelobe utilization scenarios.
