A Study on Availability Design for KASS Uplink Station RFS Section
Cheon Sig Sin, Soon Young Eom

This paper presents the results of the availability design for the radio frequency part of the Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) Uplink Station that constitutes the KASS. The radio frequency part of the KASS Uplink Station is determined according to the availability allocation value required by the KASS system. We will derive the requirements to be in charge and present the availability allocation method and the availability design results based on the derived requirements. The radio frequency part of the KASS Uplink Station is subdivided into RF and antenna, and the availability allocated to the radio frequency part of the satellite communication station through the analysis of the availability design of each component constituting the RF and the availability design result of each equipment constituting the antenna. By verifying that the system satisfies the required value assigned by the KASS system.
