A Proposal of Indoor Test Method for GNSS Beamforming Receiver Based on Array Antenna
Seong-Han Cho, Sang-Jeong Lee

The GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) signal has the drawback that it is vulnerable to interfering signal because its signal level received at the ground is small. Many researches are under way to mitigate this flaw. Array antenna-based beamforming uses an anti-jamming technique, which is based on the position and attitude of the receiver and the position of satellites. Due to the reason, it makes difficult to test indoors. It is, therefore, required to have the simplified beamforming check equipment and the test method to overcome this drawback. In this paper, we propose a method to steer the beam in the Zenith direction using the GNSS simulator signal in this paper. It implements a test platform using this method. It also verifies the performance through the test platform applied and tests using an array antenna-based beamforming receiver.
